Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am very grateful for having the chance to talk about my job here. As many of you know, I've worked at Verizon Wireless for 11 years and my favorite part of my job is showing new team members just how powerful our network is. With features like Internet, music and video, there's a lot more to it than phone calls. I've helped train more than 51,000 people to run this network.
But just having a strong network doesn't make a company great. The benefits are good too. In addition to excellent health and dental coverage, we also get family-focused perks like child care and flexible scheduling. That's why WORKING MOTHER called us one of their "100 Best Companies" in 2005.
Everybody looks forward to the future. But at Verizon Wireless, I actually get to build it.
